Reports of Fireball Over Midwest

Feb 05, 2007
WAUKESHA - Waukesha County Communications dispatchers received two phone calls about a possible meteor shower Sunday night, though little could be confirmed by emergency squads.
"There were calls of someone saying there were flames in the sky. We sent squads and fire to check but there was nothing there."
The National Weather Service’s Sullivan office said reports were called in from Iowa, northern Illinois and on up to Green Bay.
