Tornado lashes Tangail

A tornado swept over five villages in Dhonbari upazila of the district on Friday midnight, leaving at least 40 people wounded. District officials said over a thousand houses, many trees and crops on vast tracts of land were damaged in the violent storms. Besides, some poultry birds were killed and roofs of many houses blown away by the twister.
