Soloman Islands State Of Emergency: Fear Of Another Quake, Tsunami

As the first aid teams began to arrive on Tuesday in earthquake and tsunami-shattered villages in the Soloman Islands, they were greeted by flattened buildings and debris-strewn streets, as reported by Reuters. A state of emergency was enforced.
Aftershocks continue to shake Western and Choiseul provinces today as islanders sheltered in the hills fear another tsunami is yet to come.
